One of San Jose's best indie-punk bands, the Albert Square broke up a couple years back but have quietly retuned last year, now with original singer/guitarist Sim Castro and a rotating cast of musicians. Since their reformation last year, they've released the single "Sartorial Panache" (one of Castro's strongest rockers), have toured extensively and are now preparing to release yet another EP, How's Everybody's Doings, which will be available this Saturday. The songwriting is still subtly complex, but they've loosened up a bit and are rocking harder and with more feeling than before. This show is the perfect opportunity to reintroduce yourself to force that was/is the Albert Square.
