THE AEROSOLS | Wet Dreams Dry Magic

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Aerosols are awesome psych-pop that is super catchy and is definitely reminsicent of old Elephant Six bands (especially Olivia Tremor Control, Apples in Stereo, and earlier Of Montreal) that made people crazy back in the late 90s, and, if we want to get real, actual psych rock like 13th Floor Elevators and the poppier Pink Floyd. Pysch rock is back y'all! I'm so sick of non-guitar focused music! More psych! More rock! More fun! - WFMU blog

Luke Sweeney recently released his solo debut, Ether Ore, the album name a reference to the singer-guitarist's spirit animal, Elliot Smith. It's a sweet, fresh start for Sweeney as an indie solo artist, but you likely know his previous work in VOWS and his excellent current band, lo-fi pop dreamers Wet Dreams Dry Magic.
- SFBG

There is a problem. Something has been missing for a while. You know what it is. You can't define it exactly. But you want it back. Dead Meat is one band that has got it. The heft of Killdozer and Scratch Acid, the swampland shudder of Scientists, the dead-eyed stare of Joy Division, all bonded together by some piss and vinegar and delivered at high volume. That's what Dead Meat offer those of us bored to death by indie rock anemia. A trio of transplanted Floridians, Dead Meat live in San Francisco. FSS released their debut 7 inch single, accompanied with a nine track digital album compiling their recordings to date, in the fall of 2010. Touring followed and many more people beccame converts. A new album is being recorded.
