The 2013 Annual Holiday Art Sale at Creativity Explored celebrates the studio and gallery’s 30 years in San Francisco by offering shoppers a 30 percent discount off all original artwork, while supporting artists with developmental disabilities. Select from thousands of original artworks – including ceramics, drawings, prints, textiles, and paintings – by more than 135 Creativity Explored artists. One-half of the proceeds from the sale of every artwork goes directly to the artist. As the finale to its 30th Anniversary Celebration year, the gallery will also feature some limited-edition “artful merchandise” featuring artists’ designs, and bring back some old favorites: re-printed “Peace” cards featuring Laron Bickerstaff’s American Sign Language drawings; Arts and Eats, a recently published cookbook featuring Creativity Explored art plus recipes from Mission District restaurants; a chef’s apron featuring John Patrick McKenzie’s artwork; a new kid’s t-shirt; and Christina Marine Fong’s popular “money” drawing tote bags. Creativity Explored was voted “Best Artists’ Collective for 2013” by San Francisco Bay Guardian readers. Visit
