Boudoir. & Audio San Francisco are at it again! This time with chart-crushing Deep House sensation TEENAGE MUTANTS & Defected Recording artist HUMAN LIFE! Boudoir's own DJ J.Remy sets the stage for what's sure to be another action packed night of great music
Teenage Mutants:
Ignore what the hippies are all saying, radiation is great. Once a duo, the German superproducer from Mainz, Teenage Mutants was exposed to large amounts of it as a tadpole; now fully grown and using it to fuel his hunger for world domination, he has left a trail of glowing satisfied clubowners’ faces all over the world this year alone with their forward-thinking, energetic and tribal sets. Clocking up gigs in the USA, Canada, Portugal, Austria, Poland,Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and the UK In the last 9 months alone is a testament to the Mutants’ skyrocketing popularity.
Human Life:
“If Prince and David Gahan had a baby in Paris in 1990, that child might now be making music like this" – Guardian UK
“This” meaning the work of LA-based Human Life, a.k.a. Matthew Wasley. Citing influences as diverse as The KLF, Prince, the sort of leftfield disco played by DJ Harvey and classic house producers like Mr. Fingers, Matthew produces catchy, potent electronic music with engaging vocals and strong song writing.
Human Life’s sound combines the best of the underground and the overground without contriteness or awkwardness - and it’s one that’s caught the attention of artists ranging from French legend Alan Braxe, Lee Foss & Jamie Jones, MK/Marc Kinchen, Jaymo and Andy George, Grum, Aeroplane, Sasha and A-Trak.
