Root Division’s TASTE 2017 promises to be a night to remember with cuisine and cocktails generously donated and made onsite in Root Division’s gallery and studios. Featuring over 20 local chefs and mixologists, this annual spring fundraiser is a delicious evening of food-inspired art and art-inspired food benefitting one of San Francisco’s top visual arts non-profits!
A treat for all the senses, join us in sampling artful appetizers, cocktails, wine, and other treats alongside live music and artwork by 16 emerging artists working in this year’s theme, Back to the Garden. Join us to savor nature’s bounty! VIP and Host Level guests and Sponsors can expect special treats including chef demos, a limited edition artist designed tote bag, and access to our Diamond Lounge.
Funds raised from this fantastic event enable Root Division to train artists and teach free arts classes to over 800 underserved youth who would otherwise not receive arts education.
Root Division is a visual arts ecosystem where artists receive subsidized studio space in exchange for service to the community. Each artist in our program volunteers 12 hours of service per month towards teaching art to youth and adults as well as coordinating engaging exhibitions. We are committed to continuing the tradition of supporting excellence and accessibility in the arts, and cannot do it without community support!
