Talky Tina aren't nearly as morose as the episode of The Twilight Zone, "Living Doll," from whence they took their name. Featuring members of longtime San Jose bands, The Spit Muffins and Odd Numbers, the group plays a fun-loving brand of '90s-era alternative-belting out compact tunes full of fuzzy garage-spawned riffs, rough-around-the-edges harmonies and plenty of punky sass. Talky Tina are releasing their new record, Just a Little Broken, this Friday at The Blank Club, where they'll be joined by Them Slack Jawed Sons of Bitches and Bibles and Hand Grenades.
