THIS EVENT HAS ENDED
We are proud to announce that one of our instructors, Cameron "CAMER1" Moberg, a contestant in the show, will be joining us as we celebrate the new steps in the careers of contestants and artists Agana, Annie Preece, Grimnasty, Ivan "Gath" Preciado, Jenna Morello, Leba and Camer1.

We’re excited to be joined by such an eclectic group that includes artists who are both classically trained and self-taught. Their artistic pursuits range from aerosol art, metalworking, sculpting, mural painting, and more. Many have received artistic achievement awards and have worked with high-profile clients such as Pabst Blue Ribbon, Red Bull, and Warner Bros Music. Their artistic careers and endeavors are all vastly different, but the drive they possess is strongly tied to the theme of the show.

“Take Flight” also marks an important milestone for these up-and-coming artists as it is the first group show they have participated in since the airing of "Street Art Throwdown". We’re excited to see how these artists play with the theme, whether it is literal - with depictions of astronauts and birds - or if they go for a more abstract understanding of the phrase. On a subtle level, the title relates to the feeling an artist gets when they completely align with the creative process - a weightlessness where time is a blur and all that exists is the artist and air.
