SWMRS have announced their fifth UNCOOL Festival. Hometown show at The UC Theatre, in Berkeley CA, will feature performances from SWMRS, Girlpool, Ultra Q, B.A.G. (Blimes x Gifted Gab), Kuromi, and DYGL.
"A few years back, we invited a couple of our favorite California bands to perform with us at our local all ages DIY venue, 924 Gilman. It's been pretty surreal to watch UNCOOL Fest grow to the extent it has, but our objective hasn't really changed. We want to continue to make UNCOOL Fest a platform for modern music made for and by young people," shared SWMRS drummer, Joey Armstrong.
UNCOOL Fest 5 follows the European and North American legs of SWMRS' Berkeley's On Fire World Tour, which kicked off in February and wrapped in May with the band's largest sold-out headline show to date at Los Angeles, CA's Belasco Theater. SWMRS donated over $20,000 from ticket sales to organizations working on the frontlines of climate, racial, economic, and gender justice issues through their newly established SWMRS Fund.
This summer, SWMRS will appear at numerous festivals in the United Kingdom and Europe, and support Muse, Weezer, and Bring Me The Horizon on a selection of stadium dates. In August, the band will appear at the X Games in Minneapolis, MN.
$25.
