Surf Party with Slacktone, Buzzy Frets, and Frankie and the Pool Boys - cancelled

Freight and Salvage presents, Surf Party with Slacktone, Frankie and the Pool Boys, and Buzzy Frets. Slacktone, widely considered the best instrumental surf band of all time, will headline what promises to be a wild celebration of instrumental surf music, with the Bay Area's own Frankie and the Pool Boys and Buzzy Frets opening. Instrumental surf gained popularity in the early 1960s with surfer and guitarist Dick Dale opening the door for new acts such as the Lively Ones, the Ventures, the Chantays, and many others. Surf Party celebrates those original reverb-drenched sounds with a nod to the original contributions of these modern acts.
