Support the African-American Arts and Culture District in the Bayview Ordinance at City Hall

A group of concerned and interested community members have come together to form an African American Arts and Cultural District (AAACD) Working Group. The vision of the AAACD is to preserve African American history, arts and culture within the Bayview Hunters Point community, strengthen existing assets and support efforts that focus on creating a sense of place for Black Americans within San Francisco.
We are ready to make this official! We have received enthusiastic support for creating an African American Arts and Cultural District within Bayview Hunters Point and need your presence as the official ordinance makes its way through the City process.
While we would love to have you at all of the hearings, the most important ones are:

? First Reading of the Ordinance – BOS meeting – December 4th 2 p.m.
? Public Safety & Neighborhood Services Committee – Nov 28th 10:00 a.m.
