Wine, Music, and Sunset on a Rooftop! Something really cool has been happening during the last 15 years in Israel - the wine industry is flourishing, reaching 350 wineries and expanding! The wine is extraordinary, and we could not pass on the opportunity to share some of it with you. We wanted to bring them all :) but that would be challenging, so we picked our top 8 boutique wineries. Each winery has a special story - we personally know the winemakers and following their development for a few years. As these wines are not available in California, they are being shipped from distributors in NY and Texas, and 10 bottles are making their way from Israel in our suitcases. We have chosen the most interesting and unique representation from each winery. Check out our posts to get introduced to the Israeli wine culture and stay tuned for more to come!Wine Spectator has noticed the rapid transformation in Israeli wine industry and in September of 2016 dedicated a cover story to it (http://www.winespectator.com/issue/show/date/2016-10-15) - historical moment! Also interested to taste and score the wines? Join us on October the 8th!What to expect? Our lovely curator Yulie Klerman - wine enthusiast, scientist, and business professional. She will run short workshops in small groups. You will have a chance to learn about each of the wines, hear the winemakers’ stories, and last but not least taste all the 16 different wines we have carefully selected. What else? Our favorite DJs will keep us dancing all day and into the sunset at the most spectacular rooftop in SF.Volchegrooveskyhttps://www.mixcloud.com/VolcheShmumerhttps://soundcloud.com/shmumerSebahttps://www.mixcloud.com/andrew-rabinovichAbelevhttps://soundcloud.com/user6086701/ill-be-goodGood vibes and festive atmosphere are promised.
