50 years ago, San Francisco rocked the world…and it’s still rockin’. Be the first to get your groove on at ‘The Summer of Love Experience: Art, Fashion, and Rock & Roll.’ Live like its 1967 on this unforgettable day of celebration. The day includes an insider’s look at the show with artists of the exhibition, psychedelic sounds, screen-printing and poster making, a film screening of “Berkeley in the Sixties,” chalk painting, community activism and so much more. Spread the love and peace and see you there!

12:00-1:00 pm: Pop-up gallery talks by artists represented in the exhibition
12:00-2:30 pm: DJ set by Jackie Sugarlumps
12:00-3:00 pm: Performances and Face Painting by Velocity Circus
12:00-4:00 pm: Screen-printing demonstration with the San Francisco Poster Syndicate
12:00-4:00 pm: Poster design and button-making with the museum's Teaching Artists
12:00-2:00 pm and 3:00-5:00 pm: Film Screening: "Berkeley in the Sixties"
12:00-5:00 pm: Chalk Painting by Joel Yau
12:00-5:00 pm: Community Activism with 10 organizations who are changing the world
1:00-5:00 pm: Screen-printing with April Artist-in-Residence Carrie Iverson
2:30-3:30 pm: Live music by San Francisco Airship
2:30-5:00 pm: DJ set by Neil Martinson with go-go dancer Micaela Scofield
