Learn the basics of silkscreen techniques to create your own fine art prints, graphic posters, or promotional items. During this 10-week course you will build a solid foundation for screenprinting with hands-on experience and professional training in all aspects of printing—from image creation, to burning your screen, to pulling the perfect print. Through in-class demonstrations, exercises, and studio time, we will cover proper printing techniques, how to utilize materials to get desired effect(s), tips on how to store prints, and more. The last week of class we will display our completed projects and invite family and friends to celebrate with us.
____Savanna Snow is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and printmaker. She completed her BFA at Art Center College of Design in Advertising, and received her MFA from Sfai in Printmaking. She has exhibited her work in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland and Seattle. Her work has been published in the Abraxas International Journal of Esoteric Studies and exhibited at the Laguna Art Museum. You can engage with her permanent public art, installed in Fremont and Santa Cruz.

What materials (if any) will I need to bring to class?Each course requires specific materials that we ask you bring to your first class session so you can get started making right away.
