Oakland natives and twin brothers Ambrose and Austin Prince began creating as soon as they could hold an idea in their head for long enough to get it out through words, movements or on to paper.

The band members are: Alpha Lewis on drums; Tsune Naya on bass; Freedom Bean on vocals, percussion, bass, and drums; Jerry Goldstone on electric guitar; Everett James on keys & synth; Art Hafen on trombone; A Randy Johnson on tenor & alto sax; Chris Noonan on tenor & alto sax; Atiim Chenzira on lead & support vocals and guitar; Chloe Jean on lead & support vocals and ukulele, Ali Hammad on lead & support vocals; and alternate electric guitarist, Kenji Matsui.
