Simplify, reset and reconnect with yourself. Discover new ways of thinking and being, deepen spiritual knowledge, learn body-mind practices, and celebrate the diversity of life. Learn which poses can help release emotional tension, increase your energy and even relieve constipation. Come retreat from the stressors and distractions of everyday life and discover a healthier, happier you. 
Saturday • 1/26
10:30am Check-in
10:45am-12:15pm  Gentle Asana Class, including meditation
12:30pm  Vegetarian lunch provided
1:30-3:00pm  Talk: The Stress Response: Fight/Flight/Freeze Affects You on All Levels
3:15-4:15pm  Explore the Breath: Pranayama Practice and Chanting/Kirtan
Please plan to take it easy in the evening.
 
Sunday • 1/27
10:30am-noon  Gentle Asana Class, including meditation
12:15pm  Vegetarian lunch provided
1:15-2:45pm  Talk: How Yoga Practices Benefit the Five Subtle Layers of the Body 
3:00-4:00pm Yoga Nidra session
4:15pm on  Individual 15-minute followups for each participant
 
Participants are encouraged to make an appointment in advance for an intake session. This will help us better serve you.

Ruchi Bhatia (Rudrani)
Rudrani has been deeply connected with yoga for over 15 years. She has assisted her father teaching Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Gita and Yoga Sutras in India, Singapore and Boston and is currently editing a book on Classical Yoga written by her father in 2008. After moving to California, she got her teaching certification in Yoga and Yoga Nidra and is currently offering periodic classes at the San Francisco Sivananda Center. She is especially interested in Yoga Nidra and its therapeutic use for reducing stress levels and treating related diseases. She is enrolled in the 800-hour Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training course. Trained in Indian classical music, she also enjoys chanting.
