Vocalist Deborah Rosengaus and accordionist Ron Borelli collaborate with dancer Dian Meechai and partner for an afternoon of music and entertainment, cabaret-style. Selections are from classical, Broadway and folk repertoire, with a mix of popular favorites made famous by artists like Edith Piaf and Louis Armstrong, to re-imaginings of works by composers from around the world. The energetic and lively variety show will keep you on your toes.
Ron Borelli has appeared with the San Francisco Symphony, the San Francisco Opera, the Berkeley Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony and Diablo Ballet and has instructed and performed at the Las Vegas International Accordion Convention. He performs solo and with his own trios and orchestra and is well versed in jazz, opera, American standards, and Italian and French styles of music.
Deborah Rosengaus is a versatile Mezzo Soprano and has studied opera, theater, music and dance. She is known for her exciting, high-energy performances and for creating memorable and endearing characters. With a uniquely flexible voice, as comfortable in Verdi as it is in Handel, she has delighted audiences around the world with her rich timbre and sparkling coloratura.
Dian Sitip Meechai is a singer, dancer, contortionist and choreographer and has done commercial and performance work. She aspired to perform from her earliest days and sang at city-wide and regional events in her youth. Upon graduating college, Dian branched into contortion and dance styles like jazz, hip hop and contemporary. She is a classically trained soprano, yet her vocal repertoire also includes jazz and musical theater.
