Stomping Grounds is a Santa Cruz-based band that is still in its infancy, as they have only formed in May of this year. The group is headed up by brothers, Antonio Anzaldua on guitar and vocals, and Lorenzo Anzaldua on guitar, and are backed by Matt Howard and Judd DiSalvo, who provide a funk-heavy rhythm section. Together, they deliver a sound that derives its infleunce from such classic rock and Motown acts as Gary Clark Jr., Soulive, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Black Keys, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix.
