Four Barrel Coffee is pleased to present Stirred. Not Shaken by Yuriy Zakordonets. Ukrainian oil painter Yuriy Zakordonets incorporates many stylistically different approaches into his work, gently blending them into a singular, focused voice. His heavy, form defining lines are complimented by beautifully, softly rendered patches and fields of color, and his subject matter- figures, still lifes, and landscapes- all reference the changing ways humans have depicted our surroundings across history and across cultures. Yuriy lives and works in Odessa, Ukraine, where he received his Art as well as Medical Science degrees and where for many decades he has been known as a reputable M.D. and a talented artist. His artworks are in private collections in Europe, Australia, Asia, US, and Africa. Join us on Friday January 13 from 6-8pm for the opening reception of this exhibition.
