Dare to create during this immersive one-day experience at the world renowned d.school.

The day will begin with with an introduction to d.school design methods and then offer the opportunity to dive deeper into one of three tracks - Discover, Imagine and Build - to further hone participant's skills. Join us for a day full of learning and application on how to think about the biggest problems we face today.

Discover
Behind every great design there is even a greater story. Learn to interview and empathize to identify the real pain points of the people you design for.

Imagine
Dare to be creative and go for the "aha" moment. Learn become more generative on a daily basis and let us prove that anyone can be creative.

Build
Make fast, break fast, learn fast. Learn how to produce low-fidelity prototypes to answer questions for rapid insights and concept development.

After imagining new ways to encourage home gardening, Anne founded Orta Seed Pods, a three-tier sustainable company in Oakland that embodies her drive to build sustainability into product design

Michael Barry
Founder of Quotient Design Research, Michael works to discover novel understandings of human needs which generate innovative solutions that are truly valuable to the world.

Michelle Jia
As a member of the Quotient Design Research team, and co-lecturer at the d.school,Michelle uses design thinking strategies to discover and unearth compelling stories that inspire human-centered innovations.
