St. Lawrence String Quartet with Todd Palmer, Clarinet

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Berkeley Chamber Performances, as a partner with the Bay Area Music Consortium (BAMC), consisting of four distinct organizations dedicated to presenting the finest in chamber music: Berkeley Chamber Performances, Gold Coast Chamber Players (Lafayette), Mill Valley Chamber Music Society, and Noe Valley Chamber Music (San Francisco), presents the Saint Lawrence String Quartet (SLSQ): Geoff Nuttall and Owen Dalby, violins; Lesley Robertson, viola; Christopher Costanza, cello; with Todd Palmer, clarinet.

With the synergy of combined resources, collective planning and a shared artistic vision, the Bay Area Music Consortium is able to present outstanding ensembles performing uniquely designed programs that enrich each of the individual member communities.

This award winning ensemble will draw you in with its compelling thematic program based on the Golijov piece. Described by critics as "modern and wickedly attentive, with a hint of rock 'n roll enegy," the SLSQ continues as ensemble in residence at Stanford University.

F.J. Haydn: Quartet Op. 20 No.4
Jonathan Berger: Tango alla Zingarese
Beethoven: Op. 132, Movement 3
