Violinist Chad Hoopes has captivated audiences worldwide since winning the junior division of the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. Praised for his "jaw-dropping virtuosity" (Washington Post), he has performed with leading orchestras including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, and Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
On March 29, Chad will be joined by an illustrious trio of friends for a concert featuring Mozart's beloved Piano Quartet in G minor and Dvorák's Piano Quartet no. 2 in E-flat major. They will also perform the world premiere of Benjamin Scheer's brand-new piano quartet, commissioned by Music@Menlo and generously underwritten by Jerome Guillen and Jeremy Gallaher.
