For the SonicLAB ((8)) Gray Area event, artists Porpentine Charity Heartscape, Neotenomie, and Rook will summon a dimensional portal to a xenoplastic ecosystem. The three artists are known for their experimental multimedia collaborations, and have been commissioned by Rhizome and exhibited in the 2017 Whitney Biennial. The Gray Area event will feature a newly commissioned piece by Heartscape, Neotenomie, and Rook, irradiating Gray Area with mutant infrastructures alien and familiar.
