The Beat Broker (A.K.A. Ryan Bishop) is a veteran of the SF synth scene, releasing cuts as The Beat Broker since 2007, and as part of the duo Broker/Dealer since 2001. In addition to his synthesizer talents, he's also an accomplished percussionist and has a knack for crafting stellar space disco remixes, one of which nabbed an XLR8R first listen earlier this summer. Get ready for some synth-techno wildness when he throws down on the 1s and 2s this month.

Local producer C.L.A.W.S. (A.K.A. Brian Hock) has the unique distinction of being the only guy we've brought to Spilt Milk three times. And the first time he graced us with his presence was our first ever Spilt Milk way back in February 2011. He's one of our very favorite local musicians, and positively blew us away back in 2008 with his remix of HEALTH's "Lost Time." He hasn't been slouching the last five years and continues to marvel with his subtle and haunting techno jams. This will be Brian's first appearance at a Saturday edition of Spilt Milk, and we're pumped to see him work the weekend crowd.

Six DJs??? Is that for real? Well, yes it is. We're gonna be kicking things off early this month with a happy hour and having a bit of an extended party to celebrate our final Spilt Milk in it's current monthly format. Yep, that's right, after two and half years and 32 editions of Spilt Milk, we've decided to dial it back a bit and focus on quality over quantity. After the event, we'll be asking for everyone's opinions on what we can do in the future to make our less-frequent milk spilling sessions as special as possible.
For FREE ENTRY, just 'Like' the Spilt Milk page (facebook.com/spiltmilksf) and we'll put you on the list! Otherwise, it's just five bucks at the door.
Drink specials and set times will be posted in the future.
