Jane Frank hails from Houston, Texas, and has been active in the Bay Area music scene since 2013. In 2016, she released her debut The Good and Bad ep, recorded at 11th Ave. Studios with Tommy P. of Harlow’s Monkeys. In 2017 she organized and performed in a series of 11 benefit concerts and raised more than $5,000 for 10 families affected severely by Hurricane Harvey. She writes gutsy autobiographical songs with influences from the 50s to the present including Buddy Holly, Weezer, Rilo Kiley, Blondie, & the Pretenders. She is back at 11th Ave. recording with Tommy and will be releasing her first full length album later this year.
Born in a small town outside Boston, Massachusetts, singer-songwriter Marissa Kay grew up with a deep love for music. Her music echoes the classic folk, rock, and country she listened to on her mother's cassette player as a child, while also bringing in new sounds and the unique perspective from living as an openly transgender woman.
