On Saturday, April 27th from 6-10pm, Imprint City will launch the third annual Southside Festival at Laughing Monk Brewing in the Bayview Hunters Point. The Southside Festival is a FREE, four-part music series, showcasing local, indie artists and was created to enliven indoor merchant spaces in the Bayview Hunters Point, using music as a vehicle to bring much needed foot traffic to local business.
The festival will include a live taping of Imprint City's new Str8 2 the Point podcast with hosts So Vicious, Knee-C and Baineco and is co-produced by Hunters Point native Wooyeon Cho of 90xVision. Southside Festival performers will include The Jealous Guys (TJG), a Bay Area hip-hop duo and Tia No More along with an in-depth conversation about a growing movement for cultural equity in the cannabis industry with Nina Parks (Equity Sessions), Rodney Hampton (My Art Gallery) and Melonie and Melorra Green (The People's Dispensary).
