The Southside Music Festival is a day long, FREE, indoor music festival, showcasing neighborhood musicians. The unique character of this activation is, unlike most festivals that enliven outdoor spaces, Southside will leverage music as a vehicle to bring individuals to local businesses in the Bayview.
The festival takes place at 1439 Egbert Avenue (Egbert Avenue between Third and Jennings Street) and will showcase a wealth of deserving talent such as Sol Development, Le Vice, Siri and Crashing Hotels. Imprint.City has also forged a partnership with the Bay Bridged to launch this initiative and build a longer-term investment for future sustainable events, supporting the Bayview Hunters Point's economic and artistic vitality with an acute focus on the industrial, Egbert Avenue area and building the Bayview as a vital, emerging arts district.
During the Southside Festival, Imprint.City curator and muralist, Cameron Moberg will produce another outdoor mural on Egbert Avenue, adding to our goal to build this area into an outdoor museum called the SPRAYVIEW.
