More on Southern Avenue
Southern Avenue is a Memphis street that runs from the easternmost part of the city limits all the way to Soulsville, the original home of Stax Records. Southern Avenue is also the name of a fiery young Memphis quintet that embodies its home city's soul, blues and gospel traditions, while adding a youthful spirit and dynamic energy all their own. "If Memphis music is a genre, this is it!" proclaims American Blues Scene, and Rock 103FM calls Southern Avenue, "The most-talked-about band in Memphis."
Their self-titled debut album is a breath of fresh air with its own unique blend of gospel- tinged R&B vocals, roots/blues-based guitar work and soul-inspired songwriting. And Southern Avenue’s upcoming release on the fabled Stax label is a testament to the young combo's talent and vision.
Southern Avenue features five young but seasoned musicians who came from diverse musical and personal backgrounds to create music that spans their wide-ranging musical interests, while showcasing the powerful chemistry that the group has honed through stage and studio experience.

More on Travis Hayes
Travis Hayes isn’t the type to wear emotions on his sleeve. He saves that for his songs- brutally honest most of the time, andendearingly heartfelt all the time. Hayes echoes the earnestness of Springsteen, the pop sensibility of Petty, and the raw emotion of Ryan Adams.

More on MOM DJ's
MOM DJS started with a humble beginning and a modest goal. The founder, Donovan Hall (aka DJ Gordo Cabeza), was asked to curate a night at Madrone Art Bar , one of San Francisco’s neighborhood venues. He decided to create a night he called Motown On Mondays. (MOM SF) The concept was to have a weekly event on Mondays that featured the music his mother raised him on … Motown, and make it a unique experience that had ‘family’ as it foundation. Donovan invited his close DJ friends to share their take on the Motor City and soul sound each week. MOM also offered original video footage from the golden era of this music and even hired a chair-masseuse. After its first year MOM SF’s attendance resembled a weekend night. What distinguished this crowd from the weekenders was the consistently positive vibe and attitude of the revelers, DJs and staff.
