The South San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free outdoor Concert in the Park on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Orange Memorial Park, located on West Orange Avenue at Tennis Drive in South San Francisco. The event, which begins at 11:00 a.m., kicks off with performances by two local high school bands: El Camino High School Jazz Band and South San Francisco High School Jazz Band. Rock the afternoon away when the legendary Latin Rock band, MALO, takes the stage at 3:00 p.m.!
This free family-oriented community event will also feature activities for all ages at the Family Fun Zone. Children will have a blast climbing the rock wall, playing in the bounce houses, exploring the park in the trackless train and so much more! All ages are also welcome to join the fun with Karaoke, Zumba, and a Photo Booth. Hungry concert-goers will enjoy food and drink sales from a variety of food trucks, local purveyors, the South San Francisco Farmers’ Market, as well as South San Francisco Friends of Parks and Recreation.
