South for Winter's eclectic blend of folk, blues, classical, and gypsy has often been described as "Renaissance." Formed by New Zealander Nick Stone and Coloradan Dani Cichon, who met as travelers in South America, South for Winter became a trio with cellist Alex Stradal in 2017. The band is now recording their debut album in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer Matt Leigh while touring throughout the US and Canada.
