Sound and Music for Film with Ren Klyce

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The Arts Division of UC Santa Cruz host a special lecture with Ren Klyce entitled "Sound and Music for Film." Ren Klyce is a sound designer who brings a professional's view to cinematic sound as a subtle, supporting character to the image, and the reasons why it is so often misunderstood and underappreciated. For this presentation, he will play some excerpts from some well-known films, such as The Social Network or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and deconstruct how film sound tracks are made in collaboration with the director.
