Tuesday nights at Johnny V's used to be "Terrible Tuesdays," which was a popular night there because they basically had no format. They brought in bands as well as DJs that played every imaginable style of music. Now Terrible Tuesdays co-founder Ben Bremer is bringing the anything-goes vibe back to Wednesday nights at Johnny V's. The only difference is there will be a focus on soul music. The night, known as "Soul'r System" will still feature a mixture of bands and DJs, and will be loose format-wise, but Bremer says he wants to "play so much soul that hipsters' mustaches begin to revert into their faces." To kick things off, DJ Clint Westwood, the other half of the former Terrible Tuesdays, will be spinning old school funk, '80s punk rock, and of course some soul. (Aaron Carnes)
