From the nether-regions of the North Bay come . . . Soulbillies, a hodgepodge of singers, strummers, and drummers who play songs about drinking, cheating, and going to hell. Guaranteed to be a little something for everybody. Dan Babior - Drums, vocals, Melinda Borello - Keyboards, Shelley Flint - Vocals, Ian Sethre - Bass, vocals, Mike Sloan - Guitar
A nu-folk trio of Bay Area natives who formed together by happnstance -- to craft driving melodies and harmonies from the stories and experiences of our lives.
Desi & The Mish hail from the Shoreline Highway of Point Reyes, CA. They play a blend of folk, Americana, and blues for easy listening and life contemplation. Their music influences include The Wood Brothers, Joe Pug, Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, and Bill Withers. John (the guitar player) and Dale (the cello player) are respective owners of their pets, Desi (the dog) and The Mish (the cat). They are available to play background music at low-key bars, delis, taprooms, and parties that pretty much serve hors d’oeuvre appetizers to their guests.
