Songs Celebrating Irish American Heritage & Women's History Months

On Saturday, March 28 join park rangers for two music programs aboard the 1886 square-rigger Balclutha celebrating Irish American Heritage and Women's History Months. At noon, join a participatory singers' circle to share songs on the theme of women in maritime history. Then at 1pm, enjoy a one-hour performance of traditional Irish instrumentals and songs, with Autumn Rhodes (concertina and flute), Tim Hill (uilleann pipes and flute), Susan Walsh (bodhran and mandolin) and Park Ranger Peter Kasin (fiddle). Ships' admission fee applies: Adults, $15. Ages 15 and under (accompanied by an adult), free. Free with national park passes and for active military with current military I.D.
