One session: Class held on Sunday, November 11th from 2:30-5:30pmClass size: 16 students maximum Class length: 3 hours Prerequisite: Song Improvisation 101
This 3 hour intensive workshop is designed to teach the essential principles of how to create improvised solos, duets, and choruses. Song Improv 102 builds on the foundation of 101 to go into other song performances — duets, group numbers, and how songs function in scene work.
You must have taken Song Improv 101 to be admitted to 102. All students must have an understanding of basic improv precepts (Foundation 1 or equivalent.) Please contact Dave Dennison, Dean, with any questions about prerequisites or your eligibility at [email protected] or 415-474-6776.
BATS Improv Class Refund Policy:
Class cancellation policy:
If you cancel more than 96 hours (4 days) before a class begins, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
If you cancel within 96 hours (4 days) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.
Summer Youth and Adult Sessions cancellation policy:
If you cancel more than 14 days (2 weeks) before your first class, we will refund your tuition less a 15% processing fee.
If you cancel within 14 days (2 weeks) of your first class, or any time after your first class session, your tuition will be forfeit.
All cancellation and refund requests must be emailed to [email protected], and include the title and start date of your class.
In the event that we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
Please note: In the past, we have offered class credit in lieu of refunds. We are no longer able to offer this option. Each class tuition payment will stand on its own, and is non-transferable.
