WHERE: Ferry Building Port Commission Hearing Room & Emporio Rulli Union Square.
Treat yourself to an Interactive, Delicious and Dynamic Wine and Food Pairing.
Slow Food San Francisco is excited to present this immersive experience into food, wine and sustainability for our first installment of the Summer Lecture Series.
Expand your Knowledge of wine and seafood, and explore the best of Italian and Californian flavors while supporting The Salmon Restoration Project. Enjoy the ancient noble Falanghina del Sannio paired with sustainably-caught local seafood and finished off with delectable desserts.
Complimenting this sense-driven discovery, delight your mind with discussions of the history of the Falanghina and its territory by Claudio Villani of Inovino, and delve into the efforts of the Winnemem Wintu tribe to restore California Native Salmon to the Bay Area and McCloud River.
The great fisherman of Halfmoon Bay will provide the seafood, the Consortium della Falanghina del Sannio will provide the falanghina, accompanied by Italian representatives and producers on hand to speak about the wine, and Emporio Rulli will provide desserts.
Finally, The Winnemem Wintu Tribe will present their bold vision to restore California Native Salmon.
All activities are included in the donation, as well as unlimited food, wine, and desserts.
