Snazzy Productions is proud to present an intimate evening with Slaid Cleaves at Kuumbwa Jazz. After performing with several bands throughout his youth, Slaid embarked on a successful solo career in 1991, soon after becoming the winner of the prestigious New Folk competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival, an award previously given to such respected artists as Nanci Griffith, Robert Earl Keen and Steve Earle. He continues to record and perform regularly, bringing his distinct folksy Americana sound to stages and festivals around the country.
