Citing Gwen Stefani, Madonna, The Runaways and Nancy Sinatra as influences, singer and songwriter Sky Ferreira combines them all into her dancey up-tempo pop music with catchy hooks, electronic production and rock flourishes. Her full-length debut studio album Night Time, My Time was released in October 2013 with the single "You're Not the One," and she is set to support Miley Cyrus on her worldwide 2014 Bangerz Tour with Icona Pop. Ferreira played for ticket buyers in the U.K. in early 2013, as well as headlining her own U.S. tour with the likes of High Highs, How to Dress Well, and Smith Westerns, and opening concerts for Vampire Weekend. She signed with Parlophone Records in July 2009 and put out the singles "17," "Obsession" and "One" in 2010. She released her first EP, As If!, in March 2011 on Capitol Records featuring the single "Sex Rules." Her second EP, Ghost, was released in October 2012 with the synthy dance-pop single "Everything Is Embarrassing," which was lauded as one of 2012's best songs.
