111 Minna Gallery is excited to invite you to our latest art event Sketch Tuesday in conjunction with our Bay Area 5 show on Tuesday May 23rd from 5-9! With dozens of artists including our current exhibiting artists: Max Ehrman (Eon 75), Seibot, Nicole Hayden, Josh Thurman, and Messy Beck.

Sketch Tuesday is part of an ongoing tradition at 111 Minna Gallery for over a decade. Originally founded by Sasha Eckes, then carried on by Brad K Alder for 12 years until Covid created a short hiatus..

The idea of Sketch Tuesday is to bring together artists of various media and career levels under one roof to create work for sale in front of a live audience. Typically - all sales go directly to the artists themselves - but in this case, all participating artists have come together to support prolific artist and muralist Amanda Lynn who is recovering from a recent injury.

This event allows the public to become more familiar with individual artists and artists to become more familiar with other artists - thus opening up networks and intimate art sales at affordable prices.
