Bay Station's second, virtual version of its biannual Love the Bay Music & Sailing tour around the San Francisco Bay kicks off Friday with a great crew of Bay Area artists. A four-day, virtual mini-music festival streaming live on Youtube, "SIP the Bay 2", September 4-7 will celebrate local talent working in genres from jazz to folk, ambient electronica to pop rock. The series will raise funds for both the NAACP and California Fire relief efforts.
Partially filmed aboard the folk boat Espresso while under sail and presenting performances by a whole new crew of Bay Area songwriters according to Bay Station's usual ports of call, it approximates the pre-pandemic Love the Bay Tour experience.

About Bay Station
California -based songwriter/musicians Kwame Copeland and Deborah Crooks along with several musical friends formed Bay Station to create a diverse form of Americana music. Drawing on their literary and roots tendencies, their songs are imbued with aspects of Americana, blues, jazz, pop, rock and roll. They've released three full-length albums since forming in 2014, performing throughout California and beyond. In 2018, they founded their Love the Bay Music & Sailing Video Series which has been featured in BoatUS, Sailing Anarchy, 'lectronic Latitude and TrafficBeat. Since California's shelter in place went into effect in March 2020, they've been performing each week as part of the Alameda Outdoor Porch Concert Series with Safe Physical Distancing.
