Join us to sing from The Sacred Harp, an American tunebook with strong roots in the early music of New England and the southern United States. Singing is participatory, a cappella, 4-part harmony. All are welcome! No performances or rehearsals, commitment, experience, or ability required, just a wide variety of people coming together to sing and socialize. A short singing school will be given at the beginning of the evening for newcomers.
We will meet in the Women's Building Childcare Room (2nd Floor). Loaner books and books for purchase available. This event is free and open to the public. A free will donation will be collected; no one turned away for lack of funds.
