Popular culture has overdosed with vampires and zombies, but werewolves rarely get the props they deserve. One of the most ancient mythical creatures, werewolves have been fabled and dreaded monsters in numerous cultures throughout the world for centuries. For Halloween weekend, this all-day series puts werewolves in the spotlight where they belong. Join us as we bark at the moon, and celebrate this unique and sometimes terrifying monster.

Teen Wolf, By Rod Daniel, 1PM
In this highly entertaining 80s cult favorite, Michael J. Fox (Back to the Future) stars as a shy teenager with more than a changing voice to contend with…he's a budding young werewolf! His new powers help him score at basketball and win the heart of his dream girl, but he’s still got some pretty hairy decisions to make. (1985, 91 min, 35mm)

The Wolf Man, By George Waggner, 2:45 PM
The Universal horror classic that made this monster infamous. A British nobleman undergoes a startling transformation when he's bitten by a gypsy werewolf. The dreamlike atmospheres and elaborate settings combined with a chilling musical score make The Wolf Man a masterpiece of the genre. Starring Lon Chaney, Jr., Claude Rains, and Bela Lugosi. (1941, 70 min, 35mm)

Ginger Snaps, By John Fawcett, 5:00 PM
Two suicidal sisters ostracized from their classmates plot revenge against them, only to have their plan interrupted when one girl is attacked by a rabid wolf. She slowly begins to turn into a werewolf and, as her desire for blood increases, her sister must find a cure before she turns to murder to satiate her desire. A superb young female cast and sharp black humor combine to make Ginger Snaps a scary, subversive variation on the werewolf film. (2000, 108 min, 35mm)

Wolfcop, By Lowell Dean, 7:15 PM
Officer Lou Garou isn't the best cop in his small-town - in fact, he's probably the worst. He mostly just tries to avoid anything that could interfere with his goal of getting wasted. One night Lou investigates a mysterious disturbance and wakes up with a pentagram carved in his chest and body hair that's growing at an alarming rate. To solve the mystery of his transformation, he'll have to take on a case no normal cop would be able to solve, but this half-man, half beast is not just a cop...he's a WOLFCOP! (2015, 79 min, digital)
