Come join us and celebrate the Silicon Valley Irish Fleadh in downtown Mountain View located on Hope Street between Villa and Dana Streets, a short block way from the Caltrain station, this family friendly event is admission free.
The fleadh, pronounced Flaa as the Irish word for festival, showcases live music, entertainment, activities and arts & crafts for the whole family all week end long. Some of our local's best Irish food vendors will provide some of Irish favorites like Corned Beef and Cabbage, Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie, etc.. along with an outstanding selection of beers, including local craft brewers, and wine. Coming across country from New York, the Guinness Gig Rig, a monster beer truck is headed west.
Featuring traditional and modern Irish music and entertainment with local performers like Martin Lacey, The Crubeens and Whelan-Kennelly Irish dance academy, the festival showcases big headliners on stage with the Shams on Saturday and U2 cover band Zoo Station on Sunday.
A kids' zone, with Bouncy Castles, slides and face painters will keep the little ones happy and entertained.
