Signals: Zach Moses and Arswain

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Jazz musician Zach Moses, electronic artist Arswain, and their collaborative project Diving Dame showcase stripped down acoustic songs next to electronic permutating grooves, serene ambient pieces, and tectonic beats. Grounded in the relationship between humans and the earth, their compositions share how music acts as a powerful vessel of hope and truth against the current state of the planet.

Zach Moses is a multi-instrumental musician, singer, songwriter, producer, mixing and mastering engineer, composer (film, TV, and commercials) and educator. The common thread tying together these disciplines is his desire for finding the present moment, to be in musical conversation with the listener.

Arswain is the electronic-focused solo project of film composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer Freddy Avis. In 2020 he released his debut album Partitioning, with subsequent single releases in 2021 including The Garden, Flat Time, and Prussian Blue. Drawing on a range of sound palettes from modular synthesizers to guitars, his music is at once alien and intimate, addressing topics such as human exceptionalism and climate anxiety.
