In recent times Shiba San has garnered a lot of positive attention from every corner. With one foot in his hip hop past and the other embracing the future of house he has found a comfortable balance of the two in bass heavy ghetto funk. Associations with Claude Von Stroke’s label, Dirtybird, Coyu’s Suara and Amine Edge and Dance’s Cuff certainly haven’t hurt. ‘Okay’, The Best Underground Dance Track of 2014 (WMC/IDMA) effortlessly became a huge summer soundtrack.
