"Sheltering Art"
Private and public spaces, architecture and art. How do these worlds converge? In conversation with SFC&G Editor-in-Chief Alisa Carroll, leading San Francisco architects Joshua Aidlin, Leo Marmol, and Mark Jensen--who have designed homes for private collectors, as well as spaces for SFMOMA, the Palm Springs Art Museum and Minnesota Street Project--discuss how program, materiality, site and, of course, the collections themselves, inform their concepts for residential and institutional art spaces.
The event celebrates Flexform's debut of the "Adagio" sofa by acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind. Admission is free and open to the public. Wine and hors d'oeuvres.
