About Jeffrey A. Kahane:
SFCM alumnus Jeffrey Kahane ’77 is one of the most celebrated pianists and conductors of his generation. As music director of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for 20 years, he led the ensemble to new heights making it one of the country’s most acclaimed chamber orchestras. Both at the keyboard and on the podium, Kahane’s world-class artistry is clearly evident, offering new interpretations and imaginative takes on works old and new.
