Institute on Aging (IOA) is thrilled to host a community meeting debuting the One Richmond campaign. The office of Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer and the Richmond District Neighborhood Center (RDNC) are partnering to launch this campaign which celebrates and unifies the diverse residents of the district. .
The goal of One Richmond is to strengthen a collective identity for the neighborhood, promoting the values of:
- Inclusiveness
- Compassion
- Community pride, and
- Shopping local
The hope for the campaign is that it will help unify the district’s diverse communities, as well as address a range of community members' needs. Towards that end, the community's feedback is essential to the success of this neighborhood goal.
Please join us at Institute on Aging (IOA) to learn more about the campaign and to share your thoughts and ideas regarding the values mentioned above, in a roundtable fashion. Everyone is welcome, especially older adults within District 1, as well as those who serve the needs of older adults within District 1. Coffee, tea & waters will be provided at this meeting. The meeting will be facilitated by staff members of Supervisor Fewer's office, as well as staff from RDNC.
