Join the SF Pride Board Resistance Contingent! San Francisco Pride is just around the corner, and we have much to celebrate and commemorate. In these moments of celebration, we must also make space for advocacy and activism. You are warmly invited to participate in the SF Pride Board of Directors' Resistance Contingent of the Pride Parade. Since 2017, the Board of Directors has organized a contingent that leads the parade and symbolizes for us that our celebration was made possible first through advocating for our liberation. After the 2016 Presidential election, we have made a collective decision to dedicate our contingent to The Resistance, in solidarity with oppressed communities who are threatened by the rhetoric and policies of this corrupt administration. We believe that the messages of individuals and groups are made stronger in community. Please join us as we march in the largest single event dedicated to LGBTQ visibility on the West Coast. Our goal is to provide the Resistance Contingent with focus areas in order to amplify our message. This year we have chosen to focus on the following themes:
Ending Gun Violence
Women’s Rights
Black and Brown Lives Matter
Immigration Rights
Trans* Lives Matter
Religious Inclusion

Be on time and show up in support
