San Francisco Civic Symphony is pleased to announce its spring concert. This will be the first evening event in the Mission District as part of the Symphony’s community outreach program. In this new venue, the Symphony will bring live orchestral music to one of the most vibrant and beloved neighborhoods in San Francisco. The Symphony will be led by its music director and conductor G. Mancho Gonzalez, and will present a program entitled “Romance,” featuring:
Overture to the Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini
Carmen Suite No. 2 by Georges Bizet
Symphony No. 5 in F Major by Antonin Dvorak.
This is a free community event but donations are welcome and will be accepted at the door. Parking is available at the school.
