Selecting the perfect fabrics for your projects

This class is for the beginner to intermediate sewist who would like to understand fabrics in more depth so their projects turn out perfectly. We'll touch lots of fabric samples, learn about fiber content, and examine the characteristics of different types of textiles. Students will bring a project idea and/or fabric to share and discuss.

Fabric structures and types
Selecting fabrics for different types of projects
Preparing fabric for sewing
Resources for shopping and learning more
